Just read the champions skills, think about what role he will fill for you and you will be fine. If you want your champion to deal damage for CB or attack more often, you will pick masteries from offense and defense tree. If you want a champion to heal more or make buffs last longer, you will pick certain masteries on support tree. Lastly, there are certain key masteries for certain places in the game. Usually, Elder Skarg is built as a damage dealer in Arena because his A2 or A3 hits 4 times, but his role is completely different on Spider. He has ZERO damage, only defense, speed and 300 resistance simply because his main job is to CC the spiders, deal aoe hp burn and tank. ![]() ![]() If you chose Elhain as your starter champion then it would be best to use all the Rare Skill Tomes that you get early on to level up. For instance, my tanker for spider 20 is Elder Skarg. In order to completely max out Elhain's skills, you will need either 13 Rare Skill Tomes, 13 additional copies of Elhain, or a combination of both. How about a damage dealer? Build him with stats that will help that (crit damage, crit rate and attack/hp/defense in most cases).Īlso, it's all about which role your champion will fill. Does it use shield based on HP? Then a lot of HP. Is it more of a support champion? Then build accuracy (if needed), hp, defense and speed. ![]() This might sound a bit too strong since English is not my first language, but it's all about reading skills and thinking about how the champion should work for you.
